Liputan6.com, Jakarta The fifth President of the Republic of Indonesia and the chairman of PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) Megavati Sokarrnapierri proposed the birth of a global declaration called “Future Horted Joint” on the Global Civilization Forum, a Diaiotai, in Beiing, Thursday (10/7/2025).
He conveyed this idea in his speech, which emphasized the importance of universal humanitarian values as the foundations of a new and peaceful new world order.
“Nevertheless, in order to strengthen the moral and operational fund of the future world, I really hope that this time the dialog forum can also encourage the birth of an announcement of the“ future charter together ”, which will complement the noble idea of President Xi Jining more specifically,” Megavati said.
This proposed announcement is called a universal ethical umbrella, which can be a moral grip for all nations to create a more fair, equal and inclusive world.
“The Charter is a call to build a world based on respect between nations, not dominance, and rejects all forms of hegemony, operation and priorities of collective duties,” he said.
In her speech, Megavati delivered five basic principles that could be the core of the future charter together. Firstly, five principles are respect for cultural diversity, but do not close between the cultural dialogue between the nations.
Secondly, ensuring the observance of human dignity and freedom, including religious freedom, measurable scientific freedom and freedom of expression.
Thirdly, the construction of civilizations that balance the material and spiritual aspects with the depth of universal humanitarian values balances.
In -fourthly, collective responsibility for protecting the Earth and building a world around the world through the peaceful resolution of the conflict.
And at the end, the rejection of the excessive operation of natural resources, as well as all forms of violence and injustice.
