The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned of the growth of infectious diseases and the deterioration of health conditions among Afghan immigrants deported from neighboring countries. It was reported by KHAMA PRESS.

We are talking about respiratory infections, diarrhea, and skin diseases, such as scabies, as well as Covid-19 cases. In this regard, in particular, at the Islam checkpoint in Jeel County, the situation was placed. The upper respiratory infections are the most common there, followed by diarrhea and dehydration, especially in children and the elderly. Covid-19 scabies and Covid-19 are also recorded.

Which has already started medical examinations in emergency situations and group vaccination campaigns in cooperation with local health care bodies at the border points of Islam-Ala and Speck Pollack.

In total, nearly 29,000 people were examined and vaccinated. Mobile medical brigades do not work at reception points and at the checkpoint, as daily medical examinations are conducted for hundreds of returnees. In a short period of observation, who have detected more than 840 people suffering from symptoms of infectious diseases, all of whom received immediate medical care. The organization emphasized the need to increase resources and employee capabilities.

With the increase in the number of Afghans deported, the urgent need to expand financing and coordinate efforts to prevent the spread of large diseases that fall and ensure the care for mines.
