JAKARTA – The General Prosecutor’s Office (Back) revealed the role of the useful owner (BO) PT Tangi Mirak and PT Orbit Terminal Merel MERAK, Mohammad Riza Chalid (MRC) in cases of alleged corruption in the management of raw oil and oil refining products in the selection of Pertamina and KKKS in 2018-2023 years. Riza Chalid was called the suspect with 8 other people.
Director for the investigation of the Youth Prosecutor General of Special Crimes (Dirdik Jampids) of the Prosecutor General, explained Abdul Kohar, Riza Chalid with Hanung (HB), Alfian -to -the -Association (AN) and the Ramadhana conspiracy Joedo (GRJ), related to the repository of the fuel snack of Pertamina.
“The suspect MRC performed actions with suspects in HB, AN and GRJ illegally to agree on cooperation with the rental of the BBM MERAK Tank terminal,” Kohar said during the press conference in his office on Thursday (7/7/2025).
“The interfering PT Pertamina management policy in the form of an entry of planned cooperation for the MERAK BBM terminal, which at that time PT Pertamina did not require additional storage of the fuel reserve,” he said.
“In addition, the elimination of the MERAK BBM terminal assets in the cooperation agreement, as well as the establishment of a high contract price,” he concluded.
