According to a study by the online financial platform Webbankir, a salary of 100,000 rubles is considered by 21.9% of Russians to be the level of income that will allow them to be independent of borrowing, according to RIA Novosti today, September 12.
The study was conducted in August-September 2024 and involved 3,000 respondents in different regions of Russia.
“One in five Russians (21.9%) believes that the minimum level of income that allows them not to rely on loans is 100,000 rubles a month. Approximately the same number (19.4%) believes that monthly income should exceed 250 thousand rubles. And almost the same number of respondents (12.3% and 12.2%) mentioned the amounts of 150 thousand and 200 thousand rubles, respectively.” – says the study.
And only 9% of respondents considered 50 thousand rubles to be a sufficient amount to not take out loans. Another 6.5% can be content with less. The most economical were 18.7%, who were sure – of loans. “You can be independent at any income level”.
