Hundreds of Sudanese women took to the streets of the city of Nyala, the capital of the state of South Darfur, in the west of the country, in the demonstration in which they scandalized the slogans that turned to US President Donald Trump, urgently interfering to stop the war in Sudan and held the military leadership, which they used to use the chemical weapons in the region. The clips that were distributed on the Internet showed dozens of women in the city, which are located under the center of power of “quick support”, raising banners on which expressions of aiming civilians in the states of Darfur.

For his part, Trump promised during his meeting with the heads of 5 African countries in the White House, on Wednesday “Peace in Sudan”, his first conversation about his vision of the war in Sudan. The President of the United States, in the presence of the head of Gabon, Senegal, Gwinea -Bissau, Liberia and Mauritania, said his administration is working to manage the world in Sudan; There are many problems, in addition to Libya.

Trump’s conversation coincided with the situation in Sudan, with the feminist demonstration in Nyal, the first of his kind, and a request for urgent intervention in order to stop the war.

According to the “foundation” platform, supporting the “forces of quick support”, the demonstrations turned to the American president to immediately intervene to help stop the war in Sudan and punish those who are responsible for crimes against civilians, and, in particular, crimes committed in the Darfur region, which indicates an unprecedented escalation against violence and violations.

International forbidden weapons

The joint statement of activists who participated in protests indicated that the use of international forbidden weapons caused death, injuries and constant violations of a large number of civilians, and describes these attacks as crimes against humanity and systematic genocides.

The statement published on the X platform says: “We turn to President Trump because we know the influence of the United States on justice questions, and we hope that Darfur’s voice will hear women.” He added: “We are women of Darfur, we do not carry weapons, but we are pain and hope, and we turn to the conscience of world conscience to listen to us; Because the silence of these crimes is a betrayal of human rights and conspiracy with the killers. ”

The demonstrators called for the people who were responsible for these violations to the International Criminal Court, introducing the restraining sanctions on military leaders involved in the use of these weapons, practicing more international pressure to open safe humanitarian corridors and to protect civilians. The feminist groups participating in the demonstration, the international community, warned against passing the ongoing crimes committed in Darfur.

Military aircraft and marches of the army are aimed at sections of “fast support forces” in the city of Nyala, which led to a number of civilians between death and injuries. But the army claims that it is aimed at Nyala Airport, which is used by “fast support forces” to receive military assistance from the line.

At the end of June last year, the United States imposed sanctions on the army for the use of deadly chemical and biological weapons against citizens in its war against the “forces of quick support.” In early July, a special adviser to the American President for Africans, Massad Paul, said in an interview with Al -Shark -channel that the US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, is in the process of holding a meeting in Sudan with a quartet, which includes foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egyptian and United States.

The US official said that the decision in the Sudan is “not military”; He called the parties in the struggle to make a peaceful decision in order to get out of the crisis.

It should be noted that President Trump, in his tour of the Gulf of Persian,, which included the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE, last May, affected the situation in Sudan, confirming the support of the United States with the resumption of the Jeddh’s platform under the soul of Saudi Arabia in order to push the two parties to the war in Sudaen to the peace decision.

On the other hand, the democratic civilian alliance, the Samud, headed by former Prime Minister Abdullah Hamduk, welcomed the statements of the US president to promote peaceful settlement in Sudan and Libya. “We urge fraternal and friendly countries to support the paths of a political decision on negotiations in order to put an end to the war.” He added: we hope that the American orientation will support the path of a political decision in order to pave the way to achieve peace and democratic transformation in Sudan.
