The Ministry of Health has organized mobile screening for the population of the Aghdara region

During the events organized by the Ministry of Health within the framework of the “Great Return” Program to the territories liberated from occupation, various medical examinations are carried out among citizens, as well as educational campaigns aimed at promoting health.

Oku.Az reports that the Ministry of Health has published information on this matter.

The next such event took place on September 12. Medical teams from the Ministry’s Scientific Research and Medical Rehabilitation Institute organized mobile screenings for the population of the village of Talish in the Aghdara region.

Within the framework of the action, the staff of the Medical Rehabilitation Institute, consisting of an arthrologist, a neurologist, a physiotherapist-rehabilitator and a nurse, carried out a medical examination of the population. At the same time, neurologists performed EMG (electromyography) and EEG (electroencephalography) examinations. In addition, residents whose health problems were detected during the examinations received professional medical advice and appropriate treatments were prescribed.

Examinations were carried out for the detection of diseases of the spine, nerves, locomotion and general cerebrovascular diseases in the middle-aged population, and for the diagnosis and recovery of scoliosis and other vertebrogenic problems among the population aged 16 to 65 years.

Physiotherapists and rehabilitation specialists of the Institute provided preventive recommendations that help achieve early health, individually determining both natural and artificial physical factors along with drug therapy.

More than 70 citizens were examined during the operation.

It should be noted that educational activities and inspection actions are planned on an ongoing basis in other areas cleared of occupation by the Ministry of Health.
