“After the 44-day war, a large number of weapons disappeared in Armenia.”
Oku.AzThis was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at a government meeting.
“After the 44-day war, we are missing many weapons. We have discussed this issue several times, the issue was also discussed in the Security Council,” he said.
The Prime Minister said he had ordered the Minister of Interior to review the methodology for searching for illegal weapons and ammunition.
“The methods we are using do not respond to new challenges,” said the head of government.
Pashinyan drew attention to the increase in the number of legal weapons in the country. He stressed the importance of understanding to what extent the acquisition of weapons is acceptable from the point of view of forming a tolerant society and in what direction it is necessary to act in this matter.
