Oku.Az This was stated by Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan Mariana Vasileva in a statement to the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.
The Deputy Minister informed the members of the working group about the preparations for the Games, which will be held in 15 cities of the country, with the main venue being the city of Ganja, according to the decision of the organizers.
Representatives of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and the CIS Executive Committee took part in the meeting in Minsk, the capital of Belarus.
According to Alexey Sazonov, Director of the Department for Cooperation in Political, Humanitarian and Social Sphere of the CIS Executive Committee, the Azerbaijani side has done a lot of work in preparing this sporting event.
At the end of the meeting, taking into account the issues discussed and the proposals received, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan made a decision on the development and finalization of the Games programme. In the future, the programme will be submitted for consideration by the CIS Council for Physical Education and Sports.
