The Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court issued a sentence that confirms the punishment for a permanent prison returning Evgenio Delgado, as the author of sexual violence and the murder of Manuela Chavero, a neighbor of Mosneserio (Badajoz), whose body was found four years after his death on a sentenced farm.
This is with the aggravation of Alevation, cruelty, avoid the opening of the crime committed above, and the commission after a crime against sexual freedom.
Similarly, another sentence in the 15 years of prison is ratified for the crime of sexual aggression with extreme gravity committed on the same victim.
Thus, the Supreme Court rejects the appeal of the accused against the decision of the Supreme Court of Extremadura, which, in turn, confirmed the court of jury Badajoz in May 2024 and suggested that the first sentence for a permanent prison was revised in Emmandur.
This proposal claims as proven facts that on July 5, 2016 at about 02:15 p.m., the accused, Evgenio Delgado, went to the victim’s house, noting that 42 -year -old Manuel Chavero was in the house, not yet lying. After talking with her, and with the justification of the return of the crib, which Manuel gave him a year earlier, he forced her to accompany him to the house, in which the family had a prisoner 80 meters from the house of Manuel, and that he used time.
The victim left her house to assemble the crib and return to her house immediately, so she left the lamp in the living room, the light of the kitchen and television, and also left her mobile, bag and keys.
Already in the house of the Delgado family, in which they were alone, “without counting on her consent, he approached her sexually, not very definite.” Then, “in order to deliberately and inhumanly increase the suffering of women,” the defendant gave him various blows that led to serious injuries.
The set of such blows and injuries caused by the decision indicates: “Unnecessary conditions for achieving an extremely painful deadly result for the victim.”
Similarly, the verdict indicates that the accused “intentionally and deliberately” caused the death of a woman to hide her criminal case.
“The accused, not only took advantage of his physical strength, but also despised the victim’s status, fulfilling his behavior in the conviction that, as a man, he occupied the position of superiority before her with his nature as a woman who allowed her to imagine the will,” says the speaker’s magistrate.
As soon as his death was caused, the accused loaded the woman’s lifeless body into his car and delivered her to the farm of his property, located at the beginning of Monnonerio, where he buried her. The body remained there until September 2020, when its remains were discovered by agents of the central eighth inspection team of UKO Civil Guard.
During the investigations, the accused twice announced the testimony, although he did not find out what happened in any of them, he prevented the investigation, causing doubts about where he was in the early morning of violent death and even changed his car. As a result of these facts, the children, parents and brothers of the deceased suffered from disturbing depressive disorders, constant complex fights and post -depressive disorders.
