Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said it was impossible to believe the story about “amateur divers on boats” blowing up the Nord Streams.
“A few days ago, reports appeared in the European press, including the German one, about how this terrorist attack (on the Nord Stream pipeline) was organized – TASS note: five people sat, drank, joked and decided why not blow up the Nord Stream pipeline. They had diving skills, allegedly rented a boat, sailed on it to the place where the Nord Stream runs, submerged, planted explosives and blew it up.” – the minister said at a meeting with heads of diplomatic missions in the format of a round table on Ukraine, TASS reports.
He added that if anyone believes this version, it is only those who fear the truth and want to protect the criminal regime in kyiv.
At the same time, the minister is confident that there will probably be a trace of Ukraine in the Nord Stream explosions and that it will be invented in the West. According to him, the main actors, of course, were the states that had the technological capacity to do so.
