The expert revealed the five main mistakes that drivers make in traffic jams and that can lead to accidents. Here are some of the nuances:
Aggressive driving – Sudden braking and acceleration can cause uncontrolled skidding and collisions with other vehicles.
Overtaking operation on the side of the road and in the opposite lane – These serious violations of traffic rules often lead to serious accidents.
Sudden lane change – The driver in the neighboring lane may not be able to assess the sudden maneuver in time, which will lead to a collision.
Improper use of brakes. – Constantly pressing the brake pedal causes the brake pads to overheat and reduce their effectiveness. In addition, sudden braking is dangerous: the driver behind may not react in time.
