Indian Prime Minister’s Adviser on National Security Ajit Doval was received by Russian President Vladimir Putin today, who said he had been sent by Narendra Modi to personally brief him on negotiations between the Indian prime minister and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in Kiev.
“Your Excellency, I came here because Mr. Modi sent me here and I would like to convey to you his kind words of gratitude. Your visit to Moscow was undoubtedly a success, you were very satisfied with this visit and you have very good memories.” – Doval said at the meeting.
“As the Prime Minister told you during a telephone conversation, he is ready to tell you about his visit to Ukraine and his meeting with Zelensky. He wanted me to come in person and tell him about the negotiations that took place. It was a closed format, only two leaders were present, and I was with the Prime Minister and witnessed this conversation,” – he pointed out.
