At the meeting in kyiv, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky did not make any decisions on the use of US weapons for attacks in Russia.
Oku.Az ABC reported this in reference to the Ukrainian President’s adviser.
According to him, during the lengthy meeting, Zelensky presented Blinken with a detailed plan on how kyiv could use Western weapons for attacks on Russian territory and a list of possible targets. However, the official stressed that no decision has been made on this matter.
Earlier, Blinken said at a joint news conference in kyiv with British and Ukrainian foreign ministers David Lemmy and Andrey Sibiga that U.S. and kyiv officials were considering a possible escalation of the situation in Ukraine over discussions about striking deep into Russian territory with Western weapons.
