A sick 3-year-old child was the subject of violence in Zagatala.
Vafa Hasanova, the mother of 3-year-old Khadija Hasanzade, who was a victim of violence, told Lent.az editors about this.
He said his son suffers from autism.
“My daughter has been going to the Khagani Psychological Rehabilitation Center in Zagatala for 9 months. Lately, Khadija had been acting strangely, slapping herself. At the center, the teacher gave my daughter an “ava” training. This training is about teaching safety to autistic children. After putting Khadija in the center, I looked at them through the open window and saw her hitting my daughter on the knee and expressed my displeasure to the director of the center. She also complained to the police authorities.”
According to the father, that teacher was fired the first few days, but has now been rehired:
“After my discontent and my complaint, the teacher was fired. But now I have learned that he has been rehired. My sick son was beaten, I have the images, but the guilty are not punished.”
The site attempted to contact the Khagani Psychological Rehabilitation Center, but calls were not returned.
Mahir Masimov, chief inspector of the Sheki regional group of the Interior Ministry Press Service, said that the boy’s parents turned to law enforcement.
An appropriate expert has been appointed and after its opinion it will be known whether these actions constitute a therapeutic procedure or violence.
Investigations are currently ongoing at the district police station.
