The defense of the former deputy of Sumar, Íñigo Errejón, announced that will appeal the decision of Judge Adolfo Carretero to archivetemporarily, the case was opened against her for an alleged crime of sexual assault until the plaintiff’s lawyer, actress Elisa Mouliaá, returned from medical leave.
Errejón’s legal representative is already working on the appeal that she will present before the Court of Instruction number 47 of Madrid after the announcement of the instructor’s decision this Monday. to archive the procedure for the momentas argued by ‘El Mundo’ and judicial sources confirmed to Europa Press.
By accepting the file, the judge also suspended the statements of Errejón and Mouiláa which were scheduled for this Tuesday, as well as “all the actions and deadlines of this procedure until the plaintiff’s lawyer presents her medical discharge”.
The judge explains that Mouliaá “refused to appoint another lawyer to replace his trust”, therefore “the inevitable consequence is the impossibility of continuing the procedure”.
Thus, with the provisional file, we prevent “the investigation deadlines” set by law from passing, as the judge himself points out.
Sexual assault complaint
In the complaint, Mouliaá recounts the events that took place one night at the end of September 2021 when, after chatting on social networks for “about a year”, the politician invited the actress to the presentation of his book.
At the end of the event, they went to have a few beers at a nearby bar and Mouliaá, who had already planned to attend a party at a friend’s house that evening, “out of politeness.” she invited him to accompany her. “Much to his surprise,” Errejón agreed.
According to Mouliaá’s account, already in the car, he had adopted “a dominant attitude”. And in the elevator, he allegedly grabbed her “strongly” by the waist and kissed her “violently”, “leaving her out of breath”. Once at the party and after dancing and chatting with the other participants, he allegedly took her “forcibly” to a room, where several contacts would have taken place “without the consent” of the actress.
Mouliaá describes in the complaint that Errejón took off her bra, uttered “obscene” phrases such as “how do you make me feel,” then pushed her onto the bed, took out his member and affected.

Legal sources consulted by Europa Press indicate that the events reported by Mouliaá on October 24 to the Family and Women Unit of the National Police (UFAM) could be constituting a crime of sexual assault punishable by penalties ranging from one to five years in prison.
