During the presentation of the Forum, the president of the Hotusa Group and the La Toja Foundation, Amancio López Seijas; the member of the organizing committee Carlos López Blanco and its director, Carmen Martínez Castro, stressed that this year is the first edition organized entirely without Josep Piquépromoter of the event, after his death last year, a few months before the Forum was held.

The VI Forum of La Toja will have a wide program that will begin Thursday October 3 at 4:00 p.m. with its official inauguration, where the presence of King Felipe is expected. This afternoon there will also be a table dedicated to competitiveness and governance in which the former presidents of the government, Felipe González and Mariano Rajoy, among others, will participate. On Saturday, the day will begin with a first table in which leading executives such as the CEO of Iberdrola Spain, Mario Ruiz Tagle; CEO of IndraJose Vicente de los Mozos; the president of Deloitte SpainHéctor Flórez, or the president of the Confederation of Businessmen of Galicia, José Manuel Vieites.
The Governor of the Bank of Portugal, Mario Centeno, and the President of the Economic and Social Council, Antón Costas, will hold a dialogue table from 10:30 a.m., while at 11:15 a.m. Vice-President of the European Commission, Verá Jourovaand the former Permanent Representative of Spain to the EU (2016-2021) – and Head of Public Affairs for Europe at LLYC, Pablo García-Berdoy.
