This was all part of a qualification test for the program broadcast on TVE. MasterChef Celebrity contestants had to anonymously submit to their friends’ verdict. So, they would then have to try to assign which contestant each dish corresponded to. Cristina Cifuentes received no voteswhich led to his comment and Susana Díaz’s subsequent response.

In the warmth of the MasterChef Celebrity kitchen, a little known friendship by the general public: that of Susana Díaz and Cristina Cifuentes. Susana Díaz took the opportunity to emphasize that her friendship with Cristina Cifuentes goes back a long way. In this sense, “many believe that we met on television, but we were friends before,” explains the former Andalusian president. In addition, he admitted a detail that did not go unnoticed: “The first wetsuit my son wore was given to him by Cristina”.

Susana emphasized that, despite political disagreements, there was still great empathy between them. “Cristina and I have had our political differences, but we understand each other very well. Beyond politics, there is a lot of humanity» commented Díaz, demonstrating how, on a personal level, they managed to build a relationship that goes beyond partisan positions.
