The sixth edition of the La Toja Forum, which will take place from October 3 to 5 in the city of Pontevedra Oh Grovewill have the participation of King Felipe VI and the president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, while the organization is waiting for the president of the government, Pedro Sánchez, to confirm his presence at the closing of the event.
This was stated on Thursday during the presentation of the Forum by the president of the Hotusa Group and the La Toja Foundation, Amancio López Seijas; the member of the organizing committee Carlos López Blanco and its director, Carmen Martínez Castro.

On this occasion, as they said in the presentation, the idea is to develop fewer round tables of four or five speakers, to make them two people, “more agile” and which allow “delve deeper into the topics“In addition, the profile of many of the guests fully justifies this decision,” said López Blanco.
Likewise, the organization announced that this year the Josep Piqué tribute award will be given to the still high representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Joseph Borrell. In this regard, they highlighted the “extraordinary” career of the politician, who will be present at the Forum. “He has shown the courage and audacity that citizens expect from politicians,” they said, highlighting his good work in “extraordinarily difficult” times.
An extensive program
The VI Forum of La Toja will have an extensive program that will begin on Thursday, October 3 at 4:00 p.m. with its official opening, in the presence of the King Felipe VI. From there, the opening presentation will be given by British historian Simon Sebag Montefiore, a specialist in countries such as Russia and the Middle East.
That afternoon, there will also be a table dedicated to competitiveness and governance in which, among others, former presidents of the government, Felipe Gonzalez and Mariano Rajoy.
On Saturday, the day will begin at 9:00 a.m. and participants will take part in a first table. prominent leaders such as the CEO of Iberdrola Spain, Mario Ruiz Tagle; the CEO of Indra, José Vicente de los Mozos; the president of Deloitte Spain, Héctor Flórez, or the president of the Confederation of Businessmen of Galicia, José Manuel Vieites.
The Governor of the Bank of Portugal, Mario Centeno, and the President of the Economic and Social Council, Anton Costaswill have a dialogue table from 10:30, while at 11:15 there will be the Vice-President of the European Commission, You will see Jourovaand the former Permanent Representative of Spain to the EU (2016-2021) and Head of Public Affairs for Europe at LLYC, Pablo García-Berdoy.
