An unknown person stole the purse of British Home Secretary Diana Johnson while she was giving a conference on the epidemic of robberies.
According to the Financial Times, Johnson was speaking at the Police Superintendents Association conference and warned of an epidemic of anti-social behaviour, theft and shoplifting that she said the “Labour government inherited from the Conservatives”. The event took place at a four-star hotel in London.
After the conference, the head of the Interior Ministry contacted the police with a statement about the theft of personal belongings, including a wallet. The attacker has not yet been found.
