At the Oleg Tabakov Theater in Moscow they began work on a play about the participants in a special military operation under the provisional title “Call Sign “Silence”. This is reported by the theater’s press service.
“The basis of the author’s dramatization. Oleg Antonov Based on the stories of a volunteer participant in a special military operation. Production Director – Sevastyan Smyshnikov. Set designer and costume designer – Irshat Azikhanov“, – says the message.
According to the director, the work is based on human stories. Stories about military operations are constantly intertwined with memories of personal relationships, relationships with parents and even with pets.
“When I traveled to military hospitals and met the wounded, I always told them: “Guys, you have an incredible personal experience. In such situations, on the edge of life, in which you have been, the highest meanings of human life are revealed. Write down everything you remember. Here and now you can pass on your memories to your contemporaries and future generations.” – said the artistic director of the theater, People’s Artist of Russia Vladimir Mashkov.
The action is created within the framework of the “SVOi. True Stories”, which is united by one theme: understanding the importance of a frank conversation about a special military operation. The premiere of the work is scheduled for 2025.
