“You know I’ve been suffering from cancer for some time now. I’m bedridden. Let’s see what happens to us? That’s why I can’t appear on air. I can’t go. I’m bored at home, but what can I do? I’m in pain everywhere. The weather is also affecting me badly. Probably the time has come.
This was stated by popular artist Jeyran Hashimova in her statement to Moderator.az.
He added:
“I am the only decorated popular artist in Azerbaijan. But I was not awarded the Order of Glory. This was my dream. I wrote many letters and the answer was that they would consider them. They will probably give them to me. After my death, I don’t know why they forgot about me. The rest of my problem, I see that they give this order to everyone, and I am the only artist in Azerbaijan who created them. I am proud of them,” the artist said.
Jeyran Hashimova said that artists are very unfaithful.
“When I was working as a teacher at the Music School named after Asaf Zeynalli, Zeynab Khanlarova was a student there. Now I have no relationship. What relationship will remain? I was the head of the department. Students came and complained to me about Zeynab. I would call her and explain that this would not happen. But no one, I don’t remember them, I am 90 years old. There are people who don’t know me, 90 percent are infidels.
