Atresmedia to denounce Desokupa leader for “threats and coercion” against La Sexta journalists

Atresmedia will denounce the owner of the Desokupa company, Daniel Esteve, for “the crime of threats and coercion” against workers of the “Investigation Team” program of La Sexta.

These actions and threats, as reported by the network, were aimed at “preventing the exercise of his work and silencing the report that this program is preparing on him and his company.”

In some videos he shared on his social networks, the leader of Desokupa assured that he had “names of directors, coordinators and coordinators.” “I got you. We’re going to get everything out with a lot of love. Are you going out?” “I’m going out,” Estève said.

The owner of the eviction company also stated that, through his “followers’ ID,” he has “addresses, telephone numbers” and information on “where the workers of the ‘Investigation Team’ program take their children to school.” Given these events, Atresmedia announced that it would denounce Esteve.

For its part, the Association of Investigative Journalists condemned Esteve’s statements. “The threats published by Daniel Esteve, leader of Desokupa, against his colleagues in the investigation team and their families are absolutely intolerable,” it said.

“We express our full support to them and demand that the competent authorities take action in this matter,” the association stressed in a publication on the social network ‘X’.
