National Police Agents City of Menorca have arrested a man as the alleged perpetrator of various sexual abuse of minors.
The investigation began following several complaints filed last week before UFAM, the Family and Women’s Assistance Unitof the National Police of Ciutadella whose victims were several minor girls for events dating back from 2021 to the present day, for having suffered sexual abuse from a man.
To date and in connection with events, until four
complaints linked to the detained man, even if the investigation remains open and it cannot be ruled out that there could be other victims.
Officers arrested the man last Sunday, the 27th
October, putting this back at the judicial disposal.
Arrested with more than five kilos of hashish
The National Police arrested a young man Palm because, presumably, he was the recipient of a package sent from the peninsula, which contained more than five kilos of hashish.
The events occurred last Monday when a parcel company notified the National Police because one of the packages received came from a strong smell of narcotic substances.
In a press release, police explain that agents from the 2nd Narcotics Group collected information and discovered that the package had been sent from a location on the peninsula and was heading to an address in Palma.
The package consisted of two packages and five and a half kilos of hashish were found inside, divided into 20 and 33 hashish tablets.
The officers opened an investigation and, with the information they had, proceeded to arrest the young recipient of the package on the same day, as the alleged perpetrator of an offense against public health. The investigation remains open and new arrests cannot be ruled out.
