Lopesan Hotel Groupleading hotel company in the Canary Islands, in alliance with the investment company Stoneweg Hotelhave acquired the Hotel Miguel Angelformerly owned by Général Méditerranée Holding SA SPFparadigm of hotel luxury on Paseo de la Castellana in Madrid.

This operation marks the entry into Madrid of the Lopesan Hotel Group, which arrives in the Spanish capital with the aim of integrating experiences and personalized services which characterize the proposals of the Lopesan Groupas well as undertaking a revitalization of its architectural and decorative concept. This emblematic property joins a portfolio made up of 22 hotels, owned and managed, present in five countries.

The commitment to the Miguel Ángel Hotel represents the second foray of the Lopesan Hotel Group into the urban tourism segment, following the acquisition, earlier this year, of the AC Hotel Iberia in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. With this movement, Lopesan Hotel Management, the group managerwill integrate this iconic Madrid hotel into its brand portfolio and elevate its value proposition with a complete renovation, which is expected to last one year.

The transformation of the Miguel Ángel Hotel, which It has 241 rooms, will seek to transport the customer to a world of luxury and avant-garde, to become a new attraction in the city of Madrid, with particular emphasis on its gastronomic offer and exclusive services.

For his part, Stoneweg Hotelwith an already well-established presence in the European hotel sector, participates in this alliance as a key operational partner. The acquisition of the Miguel Ángel Hotel reinforces the company’s strategy of adding high-value properties, located in the most attractive areas of the main tourist destinations.

The alliance with Lopesan Hotel Group will modernize this historic property and create a new hotel concept integrating the leisure and work segments, delivering superior long-term returns through personalization of experience, technology and sustainability.
