The municipal hostel of the pilgrims Jesús and María was submitted over the last month to certain adaptation workto improve some Defects detected in the roadway of the property. Pamplona City Hall invested 30,027 euros in the renovation of part of the floor. The Presidential Commission of the Consistory visited the inn this morning to check the improvements made on site.
THE renovation work focused on the pavement of the right side nave of this old church, already desecrated, as well as the previous vestibule.
The property, built in the 16th centurysince 2007 has hosted a pilgrims hostelafter renovation work carried out a year earlier. In them, they decided to renew the use of the old church by introducing some wooden cabins in the side navesas rooms, but without intervening in the foundations of the building. This is why the original floor covering and, on top, a vinyl covering was applied.
This solution already showed some weaknesses 2011when work had to be carried out in the left side nave because of deck rot under siding.
Then he was replaced flooring and vinyl by ceramic tiles both in the left side nave and in the vestibule preceding this area.

These were carried out in the month of Octobertaking advantage of a drop in demand for this hostel dedicated to pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago and tourists. The work consisted of replace the pallet and its slat for a new support, from a self-leveling concrete screed. On this one the same ones were installed ceramic tiles than the rest of the ship.
