The businessman said that the possibility of landing in Africa arrived without looking for it. Nevertheless, he emphasized that this is an opportunity that they cannot exclude.

The strategy in this country will be that each place has its own laboratory for the production of ice cream. The fact is that in these smaller markets, the scale is not enough to build a plant, similar to what they have in which they supply Italy and Spain.
“We believe that they have everything to become a brand number one craft ice cream around the world, and we are working on it. We will continue to expand, ”he added.

Lucciano growth plan will continue with new stores in the United Arab Emirates and Peru. In both cases, the hole is delayed because the company does not find the right place.
“We have been opening plans in Dubai for a long time, but the locals that we would like to receive is difficult to get, and those who offer us are not so well located and represent more risk. Something like this happens to us in Miraflore, on the outskirts of Lima, ”he explained.
The chain of the best was born in 2011 as a family business between father and son and currently has 90 stores in five countries. The company produces about 10,000 kg of ice cream per day, which adds more than 3.5 tons per year and uses more than 400 people in 12 Argentine provinces.
The ambitious plan
The company has an ambitious global expansion plan. In addition to Argentina, it is present in the United States, Uruguay, Italy and Spain. This year, the ice cream network plans to open 120 stores.
