The China-Russia relationship, which has continuously strengthened political and strategic mutual trust, has reached its highest level in history. This was stated by Chen Wenqing, head of the political and legal commission of the CPC Central Committee, during a meeting with the secretary of the Russian Security Council, Sergei Shoigu, in Beijing, TASS reports.
“Guided by the strategic planning and important agreements of the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping and the president of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin“China-Russia relations have reached the highest level in history: comprehensive partnership relations and strategic interaction in a new era,” – said.
Chen Wenqing added that the two countries always adhere to mutual respect, equal treatment and mutually beneficial cooperation, constantly strengthen political and strategic mutual trust, firmly support each other in protecting core interests, continue to deepen strategic cooperation and constantly promote practical cooperation in various fields.
“The two countries have established a pattern of cooperation and positive interaction between major countries,” – added the Chinese representative.
Sergei Shoigu arrived in Beijing on Monday, November 11, on a working visit. On Wednesday, Shoigu and Chen Wenqing held the ninth round of Russian-Chinese consultations on issues of public security, justice and public order.
