The seismic series located in the area of Enmedio Volcanoin the waters between Tenerife and Gran Canaria, remains active, with more than thirty earthquakes in the last two days.
According to data recorded by the National Geographic Institute (IGN), the largest of the series was located after midnight this Thursday with a magnitude 3.6 and a depth of 33 kilometers.
From the IGN, they specify that it is one of the most active volcanic areas of the archipelago and constant monitoring of the evolution of this process is maintained.
Earthquake depths generally continue above 25 kilometers, although the largest magnitude quakes in the early hours of Thursday were located about 8 kilometers to the northwest.
