Israel increased air strikes in gas last week, when negotiation participants reported that the ceasefire agreement was close, although it was not reached.

President Donald Trump on Wednesday (9/7) said that he was optimistic, that the agreement can be reached this week or next week. According to reports, Hamas agreed to free 10 out of 50 hostages, which were still detained within two months of the ceasefire.

The intermediaries from Qatar warned that the ceasefire would take time, because there were still big obstacles. Hamas wants a guarantee that Israel will no longer launch an attack, as happened in the middle of Mhart after the first ceasefire, while Israel wants Hamas’s complete eviction from the gas sector.

On the other hand, the Minister of Defense of Israel, Israel Katz, made an offer to transfer the Gazanians to what he called the “city of humanity” in southern gas, which was described by legal experts as drawings of crime against humanity.

Juliet Tuma, Communication Director of the United Nations in Palestinian refugees (Yunsva), emphasized that such plans only worsen the humanitarian crisis and forced the Gazanians of violent evacuation.

The war in Gaza began after the Palestinian militant, led by Hamas, attacked South Israel on October 7, 2023, that the events claiming Israel killed more than 1,200 people and found more than 250 people. More than 57,000 since the Israeli counterattack began on the same day.
