Barak wrote on the platform “X”: “Raising the US sanctions to Syria, it is a new strategic beginning for the nation aimed at war.”
He added: “The United States does not seek to build a state or realize federalism in Syria.”
He indicated that “the message of President Trump is a world, prosperity and changes in politics in order to give the possibility of restoring the emerging Syrian regime.”
He emphasized that “Syria should remain united with one army and government, and there will be no six countries except one Syria, and the United States does not dictate the conditions, but will not support a separate result.”
And he added: “Syrian democratic forces are the same folk divisions, and YPG is the expansion of the RPK that Turkey and the United States consider the terrorist organization, and we owe Syrian democratic forces, but not with their own government.”
