The operation of the Baku metro has been modified in connection with the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Baku Metropoliteni has responded positively to the request of the Baku City Ring operating company, the organiser of the race.

It was reported that due to mass cultural events that will be held in the city center on the days of the caravan, the working hours of the Baku metro will be extended by two hours on the nights of September 13-14 and 14-15.
On Saturday and Sunday evenings, the doors of all metro stations will be open until 2:00 a.m. Trains will run on the lines until passengers are delivered to their apartments at the stations.
