East Flores – Mount Levotobi, a man in the eastern nusa Tenggar (NTT), experienced an eruption on Friday, July 11, 2025, about 14.10 Vita.
During the eruption, the Mount Lewotobi man erupted the volcanic ash to 4000 meters. As a result of the eruption of thousands of houses living on the slopes of the mountain, were badly damaged.
The injured residents called on the government to immediately distribute assistance in the form of a zinc and a tarp to repair the roof of a damaged house.
At least eight villages were directly affected by the eruption. The houses of many residents suffered from damage to the roof, which made them difficult to survive in the midst of indefinite weather conditions.
“Our house is damaged, the roof has leaked. We really need the help of zinc and tarpaulin in order to cover the damaged part of the house, ”said one of the inhabitants of the village of Klatango on Saturday (12/7/2025).
