Who is Hans Zimmer, the first confirmed artist of the new multipurpose hall of Juan Roig in Valencia?

Among the 33 concerts that make up the tour, Zimmer will visit Spain three times. After Valencia, it will be the turn of Barcelonaon March 27, 2026 at Palau Sant Jordi, and MadridMarch 29, 2026 at the WiZink Center.

Ticket sales will begin on September 26 this year, although it is currently possible to register for pre-sale access.

Hans-Florian Zimmer (Frankfurt, September 12, 1957) is a German composer with a long career and a unique style in which his great ability to integrate electronic music and symphonic and orchestral arrangements into his compositions stands out.

Currently considered one of the most brilliant composers in the Mecca of cinema, many Hollywood critics nickname him the omnipresent Zimmer for his multiple works.

According to his biography, Zimmer began his musical career in the 1970s behind the keyboards and synthesizer of the band Krakatoa, alongside Nigel Glockler and Dave Poxonfuture drummer and manager of Saxon, respectively.

A decade later, he was part, with Bruce Woolley (from the band The Buggles), and Thomas Dolby, the band The Camera Club, with sounds close to synthpop and new wave. Later, he also worked on the Helden project with Ultravox drummer Warren Cann and Zaine Griff.

The name of the multipurpose facility was not chosen at random, but rather responds to a tribute to a key family in the economic development of Valencia and Spain.

The works are progressing according to schedule and this week the Roig Arena car park has already opened its doors. It is a five-storey building and three underground floors that has a total capacity of 1,034 parking spaces for vehicles.
