At the next meeting of the Board of Directors, chaired by the Chairman of the Accounting Chamber Vugar Gulmammadov, the “Auditor’s Report on the results of the audit of the management of state funds and property of the Seaside Boulevard Department and its subordinate institutions” was discussed.

It was reported that the years 2021-2023 were covered by financial resources of 47.9 million manats. The verification that the fulfillment of obligations under the state order at the expense of state budget funds, the planning and implementation of state purchases, as well as the preservation, management and accounting of state property do not meet the audit criteria in all material respects and inconsistencies are mainly widespread, as well as decisions on management of state resources in the context of the public sector, in terms of cost-effective use and prevention of excessive costs, has resulted in a negative opinion on the possibility of signs of criminality and non-compliance with the correction criteria in many cases.
Based on the results of the discussions, the auditor’s report should be approved, the institution should carry out the necessary work to eliminate the deficiencies found in the field of financial accounting, tax obligations, as well as accounting of state property, as well as taking into account the possibility of criminal elements in the violations detected in the use of state funds and property, a decision was made to send the materials to the Prosecutor General’s Office.
