The Provincial Delegation of Toledo has allocated almost one million euros for the development and improvement works of the provincial roads TO-2635 and TO-2628, which affected more than 30 kilometers of the provincial network of the Ocaña region. An investment aimed at improving communications between the different populations of Toledo, guaranteeing road safety and promoting the growth and development of municipalities.
This was explained by the president of the provincial institution, Concepción Cedillo, who learned of these actions today, during a visit during which she highlighted “the constant work carried out by the Deputation Forale de Toledo to maintain the provincial road network and thus respond to the requests of municipalities in this regard.
Concretely, the works, which have just been inaugurated, have been divided into three actions, including two on the TO-2635, in the sections which extend between Villanueva de Bogas and CM-4006, with an investment of 460,928.08 euros; and between this same road and the municipality of Dosbarrioswith an investment of 333,530.85 euros.
For their part, the improvement actions carried out on the TO-2628 affected the section that connects the N-400 highway and the municipality of Villaseca de La Sagra and represented a total investment of 107,479.90 euros.
These investments have made it possible, among other things, to correct pathologies by minimizing the consumption of raw materials, within the framework of circular economy and sustainability criteria; improve vehicle grip; guarantee the waterproofing of the sidewalk; get a more flexible layer; and provide improved vehicle grip.
“With this, the Government of the Provincial Delegation of Toledo confirms its commitment to ensure safety and good traffic conditions for the thousands of vehicles that travel daily on provincial roads, which in many cases constitute the main means of communication between villages in the province,” Cedillo highlighted.
