A court in the province of Valencia has ordered the provisional arrest of a man accused of attacking a woman with whom he was having a romantic relationship with acid last Sunday. The events took place in the Valencian city of Betaralocated approximately 40 kilometers from the capital of Turia.
The man was arrested after the woman, about 50 years oldrequested health assistance and action protocols were activated in the event of possible cases of gender-based violence, as confirmed by the Command of the Civil Guard of Valencia.
