The complaint of Musavat Party member Musatafa Hajibeyli, who was registered as a candidate for deputy of the first electoral district No. 8 of Binagadi in the extraordinary elections to the Milli Majlis held on 1 September, was considered.
Oku.Az reports that the issue was discussed at the meeting of the Central Election Commission (CEC) held today.
According to the presentation by CEC Secretary Arife Mukhtatovanim, there was no legal basis for accepting the application of Mustafa Hajili, a member of the Musavat party.
Thus, the CCA concluded that the appellant’s appeal No. 75 was unfounded.
The decision came into effect on the day of its publication.
