Japan confirmed information about the visit of an Armenian military delegation to the country

Japan, citing its sources, confirmed the information shared yesterday by “Calibre” about the visit of an Armenian military delegation to the country.

Oku.Az “Calibre” reported on this.

However, the Japanese embassy in Baku responded by saying that no discussion was held on the supply of arms to Armenia.

Here is the response from the Japanese Embassy without changes:

“First of all, we confirm that we have received a letter regarding the article published in your publication on September 12. The Japanese Embassy has no information about the visit of Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan to Japan, but we are aware of the visit of Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan to Tokyo. The point is that there was no discussion about the supply of weapons from Japan to Armenia.”

However, we would like to remind you that in our yesterday’s post we did not write about the visit of the Armenian Minister of Defense to Japan. “We have stressed that the Armenian delegation, which intends to hold negotiations on the purchase of weapons, is in Japan.”

As we have seen, the Japanese embassy confirms the visit of the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, to Tokyo. Given the specifics of Grigory’s activities, it would be naive to believe that he came to Japan to learn the art of making sushi.

We are still waiting for a response from the South Korean embassy in Azerbaijan.
