The fire at a fertilizer warehouse in Dolgoprudny, near Moscow, spread to a neighboring building. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
“The fight against fires continues. The fire spread to a neighboring building. “The high fire load contributes to the rapid spread of fire.” – the message said.
Due to the smoke and intense heat, rescuers have to work in difficult conditions. More than 60 firefighters and 17 teams are trying to put out the fire. It is clarified that gardening tools and fertilizers were stored in the warehouse. According to preliminary information, there were no victims.
As clarified by the regional prosecutor’s office, the fire in the warehouse spread over an area of 1,400 square meters.
