Orban promised EU even more surprises as part of “peace mission” – EADaily, September 13, 2024 – Politics News, Russian News

Even more unexpected diplomatic steps within the framework of the “peace mission” for Ukraine will follow a visit to Moscow at the beginning of Hungary’s presidency of the European Union, Prime Minister Viktor Orban said this today in an interview with the country’s state radio, Bloomberg reports.

“I have more peacekeeping missions in my pocket. We will continue with unexpected initiatives, each of which will bring us one step closer to peace.” – said Orbán.

Hungary’s prime minister warned Hungary’s EU and NATO partners about his first diplomatic mission in July, which included meetings with the Russian president.
