“There will be scandalous arrests in Armenia”: Pashinyan spoke about the theft of Armenians

The political landscape of the South Caucasus has been changing for a long time.

The reason is that instead of taking advantage of the peaceful conditions created by Azerbaijan, Armenia is interfering.

This chaotic situation has been going on since the 44-day war. For several days now, regional media have been giving ample space to statements by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the latest situation in the region. However, these statements did not go down well with the domestic audience.

The Prime Minister claims that after the 44-day war in Karabakh, a large amount of weapons and ammunition mysteriously disappeared from the army’s arsenal. The separatist forces, who were dying, stole weapons from the army to point them at us on our lands, and these weapons were illegally transported to Karabakh. Although these statements are actually spread through the media, Armenia denies them.

Military expert Adalat Verdiyev said that during the war and anti-terrorist measures in Armenia, high-ranking officials illegally provided weapons to the civilian population and terrorist organizations:

“I think that in the next one or two months we will be faced with the news of the arrest of high-ranking officials in connection with illegal arms trafficking in Armenia.”

Our people are still suffering from the consequences of mines and IEDs that the Armenians placed on our land. Moreover, the map of these mines is not provided. The peace document is currently being negotiated, it is only hoped that the process will be completed soon. But on the one hand, Nikol Pashinyan is trying to replace the stolen weapons with ammunition purchased in India, North Korea and France. In this case, the question remains as to where this purchase will lead the region.
