Kate Middleton’s diet: how the princess who is battling cancer eats

Edition ¡HOLA! I decided to tell you about the products that the Princess of Wales is currently using.

It’s important to note that Middleton is in the early stages of preventative chemotherapy, which she began in late February.

Professor Ramya Mokbel, a dermatologist-oncologist specialising in the treatment of skin cancer, stressed in an interview with the publication that it is important for patients undergoing chemotherapy to follow a balanced diet. The diet should be rich in proteins, vitamins, carbohydrates and fats to help the body recover and compensate for the damage caused by the treatment.

Among vitamins and supplements, only vitamin D3 is allowed. And to prevent nausea, which often occurs during treatment, it is recommended to drink ginger tea.

“After completing chemotherapy, it is beneficial to adopt a Mediterranean diet rich in fruits, vegetables, antioxidants and healthy unsaturated fats such as omega-3s, while reducing intake of animal fats, carbohydrates and processed foods,” Mokbel added.

Fortunately, Kate’s diet already includes plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats.

Breakfast

As you may know, Kate, a mother of three, likes to start her day with a smoothie. She usually makes hers with kale, spirulina, matcha, spinach, romaine lettuce, cilantro leaves, and blueberries for a healthy morning drink.

Plus, sometimes she chooses a bowl of oatmeal.

Dinner

Although Kate is not a vegetarian, she often chooses vegetarian dishes for lunch.

During the royal tour of India, chef Raghu Deora, who was responsible for Kate and William’s meals, prepared them vegetable kebabs and lentil curry.

According to a 2014 Daily Mail report, Kate also enjoys watermelon salads, tabbouleh, ceviche and gazpacho. The royal family also loves sushi.

Dinner

The princess prefers the same dishes for dinner as many of us: roasts, pasta and curry.

Fried chicken is also one of the royal family’s favourite dishes. Prince Harry proposed to Meghan while they were cooking dinner together, and Kate and William also love the dish. Royal correspondent Katie Nicoll told Vanity Fair in 2012 that Kate likes to cook William’s favourite dish in the evenings: fried chicken.

Appetizers

The princess prefers healthy snacks such as fresh fruits and vegetables like goji berries. Previously, Kate also loved to indulge in popcorn with William.

Dessert

After dinner, Kate doesn’t turn down dessert. Her favourite is the classic British sticky toffee pudding. Kate is also a passionate baker and often bakes her own birthday cakes for her children.

“Cursor” previously said that Scientists have discovered what type of diet can protect you from a common type of cancer. Bowel cancer is one of the most common and dangerous cancers due to its late diagnosis, but there is an effective way to prevent it.
