Overflow of the Júcar

The Hydrographic Confederation of Júcar (CHJ) warned that the river flow could reach 1,000 cubic meters/second downstream of the Forata reservoir, due to accumulated precipitation.

Given this situation, all municipalities that border the Magro River and the Júcar River, from Algemesí to the mouth of Cullera, have been informed that significant overflows could occur in areas near the river. For this reason, it is recommended that the population move away from areas near the river.
