The individual injured his two parents with a knife in the middle of the afternoon yesterday in a house where he barricaded himself for around three hours.
The man who barricaded himself for several hours in a building in Bilbao this Friday after attacking his parents with a knife and then throwing himself into the void, died in recent hours at Basurto Hospital, according to the Basque Security Department.
The individual injured his two parents with a knife yesterday afternoon in a house located on Avenida de San Adrián where he barricaded himself for about three hours. The event prompted the intervention of the Ertzaintza, the municipal police and the firefighters.
Both parents were taken to hospital to be treated for their injuries, while the alleged perpetrator jumped from the fourth floor after 6pm, sustaining various injuries.
Finally, and after being transferred by the health services to the Basurto Hospital in Bilbao as a prisoner, the individual lost his life in the last few hours.
