THE shopping centers The municipality of Valencia and its surroundings will modify their usual schedules from next week due to the application of regional regulations for areas with high tourist influx. Therefore, businesses located outside busy tourist areas will be able to open on Sundays and public holidays only on the following dates: Saturday October 12 and December 1, 6, 15, 22 and 29. On the other hand, on the public holiday of December 8, they will remain closed to the public even though they fall on a Sunday. All this, framed in the law approved by the Generalitat to open only on Sundays and public holidays between June 15 and September 15.

Regarding shopping centers located in ZGAT zones, such as Aqua, El Saler, Nuevo Centro or El Corte InglésYes, they will be able to open on Sundays until the January sales. During this period, they will only remain closed on October 9, December 25, January 1 and January 6, with the exception of restaurants and leisure activities, which will continue to open at their usual times.

December 22, 2024 – Sunday. Christmas campaign.

December 29, 2024 – Sunday. Campaign of Kings.

Parlaelo, the Valencian Observatory of Commerce approved this week the 11 public holidays and Sundays on which commercial establishments will be allowed to open during 2025as established by regional legislation. Specifically, the proposed days are January 5 and 12, April 18 and 20, July 6, November 1 and 30, and December 6, 8, 14 and 21.
