The 11th Beijing Xiangshan Forum was held in the capital of the People’s Republic of China.
Oku.Az reports that the Ministry of Defense has published information on this matter.
It was reported that the delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Director General Agil Gurbanov, went on a business trip to China to participate in the forum.
First of all, a bust of the great leader Heydar Aliyev was visited at the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the People’s Republic of China.
The Azerbaijani delegation then participated in the 11th Xiangshan Forum in Beijing.
A. Gurbanov met with Admiral Dong Jun, Minister of National Defense of the People’s Republic of China, during the forum attended by ministerial and other officials from more than 100 countries of the world, as well as official delegations of regional and international organizations. The Director General expressed his gratitude for the invitation to the forum.
During his business trip to China, the Director General also met with the head of the Department of Cooperation in Arms, Equipment and Military Technology of the Central Military Council and with several enterprises included in the State Defense Industrial Complex. During the meeting, the current situation and development prospects of military-technical cooperation between the two countries were discussed.
