The complaint of Galandar Mukhtarli, registered as a candidate for deputy for the 97th Tarter-Aghdara-Goranboy constituency in the extraordinary elections to the Milli Majlis held on 1 September, was examined.
Oku.Az reports that the issue was discussed at the meeting of the Central Election Commission (CEC) held today.
According to the presentation of the CEC secretary Arife Mukhtarova, the applicant’s application was investigated, but more than 40 of the 87 videos he submitted were related to other electoral districts. Also, no violations of the law against the will of voters were identified in these images. In this regard, the district election commission made the correct decision regarding Galandar Mukhtarli’s application and did not accept it. Therefore, the SC decision should not be questioned. The decision will come into force from the date of its publication.
