The events took place last Saturday, just hours apart, during the Moors and Christians festival in the Valencian city.
The National Police have arrested two men who allegedly sexually assault two minor women major last week during the Moors and Christians festivities in the Valencian municipality of Ontinyent, according to Levante-EMV and sources of the investigation confirmed to Europa Press.
The first of the events occurred on the public highway in the early hours of Saturday, August 24, around 1:45 a.m. A minor, accompanied by her relatives, reported in a purple spot that a man had he had touched her buttocks.
The National Police officers carried out the corresponding investigations and managed to locate and arrest the suspect, a 24-year-old man who has already been brought to justice.
The second incident also occurred on the 24th, but around 7 a.m. The officers were instructed by Room 091 to go to the city’s Mestre Ferrero Park, where, apparently, a minor had been sexually assaulted.
The police carried out various procedures and questioned several witnesses. Thanks to all this, they were able to arrest the alleged perpetrator, an 18-year-old young man. The victim was taken to a medical center where he was able to receive assistance, while the detainee was also brought to justice.
