The inhabitants of the area called “Lake Gyr” in Absheron are in a difficult situation.
According to Xezerxeber.az, the local pumping station has not been working for more than 10 days, causing the lake to overflow and fill the basements and yards of nearby houses.
In this regard, the Absheron Water Reclamation Systems Operation Department said that the pumping station for the lake was out of service:
“The pumping station will be repaired shortly and the legitimate complaint of the residents will be fully resolved.”
