The leader of North Korea confirms the support of his country in Russia in Ukraine

Official media of North Korea reported that the North Korean leader Kim Jong UN confirmed the unconditional support of Pyongyang all the actions taken by the Russian leadership to radical resolution of the situation in Ukraine.

The Central Information Agency of North Korea said that Kim made these statements during a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov.

Earlier (Saturday), the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Lavrov met with Kim in the coastal city of Vonsan, where he called relations between the two countries as an “indomitable brotherhood of the struggle,” Reuters said.

The Ministry quotes Lavrov, which states that the visit is a continuation of the “strategic dialogue” between the two sides, which was launched by the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to North Korea last year.

According to the Russian news agency, TASS, Lavrov quoted a message expressing hope to establish more direct contacts in the future.

The ministry said that Lavrov also thanked North Korea for sending strength to Russia.

Relations between the two countries were strengthened during the conflict in Ukraine, so Pyongyang sent thousands of his soldiers during the campaign for several months to expel Ukrainian forces from the Russian Carco -Region, and Russia also provided ammunition.
